Actors

We thought it would be better to have a leading male, as stereotypically, Thrillers, the genre that our production is; males are the leading roles, and although Thrillers have a secondary main female character. The lead is almost always male, to continue with the conventions we would make sure in the credits there are female names to suggest other characters to follow the codes and convention if we were to make the remaining of the film.
Below are the volunteers we had that offered to be in our production:

  • Gavin Bedford
  • Fiona Kettle
  • Louise Bedford
  • Scott Mines

Gavin Bedford
After deciding that a male lead role would be more conventional, we eliminated the two girls from this list. In the end we decided to use Gavin as he is the most easy to contact and is free a lot of the time, which is an advantage for filming. Also, as Scott also does AS Media, and is working on his own production, we thought he would rather spend the time making his own, rather than starring in ours.

Gavin fits the stereotypical hero/lead role in Thrillers, he is physically able, looks intelligent, but doesn't look extremely masculine, which is reflected in his character, as the character dies, rather than being able to defend himself.
