We filmed the first part of the opening sequence, the cold open on 19th November 2011. Gavin laid on the pavement, as directed in the story board and the filming took from 10am-12pm roughly. We decided to film on the corner of Half Moon Lane as we thought this location had to least faults.
Our plan for the day of filming:
- Lighting: High key natural light as we are outside
- Costume: Gavin will be in usual, natural clothes, as the death could of been sudden and would be wearing ordinary clothes, he also had makeup applied to look like bruising, and a pale face.
- Props: there are no props needed for this shoot that can't be found naturally on the set
- Crew equipment: tripod, camera, memory card
This is where we filmed the second half of our production, the title sequence on 27th November 2011. It was set in Gavin's house, and we filmed from about 10am-12pm.
Plan for day of filming:
- Lighting: Use natural lighting as much as possible, may have to use interior house lights, as we were unable to get flashguns
- Costume: Gavin will be in a suit
- Props: typical house props, briefcase, mirror, bread, toaster
- Crew equipment: tripod, camera, memory card
